To those outside Kentucky, football and horse racing might seem like a strange kind of sports doubleheader. But the University of Kentucky and Lexington’s transportation authority are making it possible for Wildcats fans this weekend.
The school is providing a special shuttle service to carry fans between Commonwealth Stadium and the nearby racetrack at Keeneland for Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt, the school announced.
For a $1 fare each way, fans can go from the stadium to Keeneland or vice versa. Fans leaving for Keeneland should board the bus at the intersection of University and Cooper Drive.
