LEXINGTON — A familiar name is set to join the Kentucky football roster.
Florida State linebacker Xavier Peters, a former four-star recruit who was committed to Kentucky through much of his senior year at Lakota West High School in Ohio, is set to transfer to UK. Peters, who appeared in two games as a freshman at Florida State last season, reportedly placed his name in the transfer portal once in December only to return to Florida State for spring practice.
He announced his decision to transfer to UK via Twitter Wednesday with a note reading, "BBN show me some love I'm back baby!
