Florida quarterback Graham Mertz is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury he suffered during the Gators’ loss to Tennessee Saturday night.
Mertz will likely be replaced by five-star freshman DJ Lagway as Florida’s starting quarterback moving forward.
Lagway was 9-for-17 for 98 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception against Tennessee after Mertz left the game.
Kentucky (3-3) will travel to Gainesville for a battle against the Gators (3-3) this weekend.
