Great news for fans of college football and returning to normalcy…
According to Sara Cardona with CBS4 News down in Gainesville, University of Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin said he anticipates full capacity at sporting events this fall.
Stricklin was speaking at a virtual breakfast when he told virtual breakfast goers the Gators’ expectations for attendance at fall sports on campus, including football and a crowded Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It was Stricklin’s first comments on the school’s plans for full capacity, says the Orlando Sentinel.
Kentucky does not travel to Gainesville this upcoming football season, but Stricklin’s expectations are a great sign for filling stadiums around the SEC.
