On Thursday, Kentucky offered five-star combo guard Devin Askew. Today, the Santa Ana, California native confirmed he will stay in the 2021 class, ending speculation that he will reclassify.
“I talked to my parents, my coaches, my trainers, and I’m not going to do it anymore and stay in the class of 2021,” Askew told Evan Daniels. “There’s no rush, although I feel like I can go to the next level earlier and play, why not just use that year to develop and get better and mature a little bit, I’m still a kid.
