Class of 2016 five-star forward Wenyen Gabriel, out of Massachusetts’ Wilbraham & Monson Academy, near Springfield, has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats over the Duke Blue Devils. Matt Norlander of CBS Sports reported Gabriel’s decision, and Gabriel also posted an announcement on his personal Twitter page.

It’s quite the accomplishment for Gabriel, who didn’t have a single offer from a Division I school in 2014. Since then, he has improved his game to the point where, over the course of a week in July, he was practically swimming in offers.
