PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – While John Calipari works on his 2018-19 team in the Bahamas, the next season's roster is already taking shape.
In a video posted to YouTube, five-star class of 2019 forward Kahlil Whitney committed to UK on Wednesday, just two days after releasing his top-four list. Whitney is UK's second 2019 commitment in a week, following Pendleton County star Dontaie Allen in joining the class.
Whitney, who plays at the same New Jersey high school that produced former Wildcat guard Isaiah Briscoe, picked UK over Georgetown, Illinois and Oregon. Whitney had previously cut Louisville, which had made his final eight list.
