Following a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad evening at the Champions Classic for Kentucky basketball, the Wildcats now must go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to regain some momentum, specifically on offense.
In a 65-62 loss to Kansas, Kentucky shot just 36.1 percent overall and 14.3 percent from three, turned the ball over 16 times and managed just eight assists. Missed shots, reckless turnovers and head scratching foul calls led to a frustrating evening for all parties involved, ranging from the participating players and coaches on and around the floor, the limited media watching from the upper deck of Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and the fans fighting to stay awake from the comfort of their own homes.
