Rhyne Howard recorded the third-ever triple-double in Kentucky Women’s Basketball history on Sunday afternoon. And oh yeah, the No. 19 ‘Cats (3-1) cruised to a blowout win, beating the Winthrop Eagles (0-4) 92-47 in Memorial Coliseum.
Howard finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in 28 minutes of action, along with five steals. She played just the first few minutes of the fourth quarter so she could reach the triple-double mark before sitting on the bench the rest of the way.
Makayla Epps (Nov. 2015) and Leslie Nichols (Feb. 1986) are the only other two players in Kentucky WBB history to record a triple-double.
