The Wildcats dominated on both sides of the football, picking up a whopping 529 yards overall (402 rushing yards) on offense and allowing just 199 on defense. UK won the time of possession battle, as well, holding the ball for 33:39 compared to Vanderbilt’s 21:21.
Individually, star quarterback Lynn Bowden led the Wildcats with 104 yards passing (8-10) and a touchdown to go with 110 yards rushing and a touchdown on 17 carries.
Redshirt freshman Chris Rodriguez managed a career-high 129 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, followed by Kavosiey Smoke with 95 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.
