Missouri picked up an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in the first quarter Saturday against Kentucky football following a scuffle between the two Southeastern Conference rivals.
The fight occurred after Mizzou defender Trajan Jeffcoat shoved UK quarterback Will Levis out of bounds on the UK sideline at the end of a 3-yard scramble. Several Wildcats on the bench took exception to the hard push — Levis stayed on his feet and was not injured — and approached Jeffcoat.
It escalated from there, with more Tigers rushing in to defend Jeffcoat and multiple players shoving each other.
