Believe it or not,, and over the weekend, the city of Chicago celebrated with Ferris Fest, a three-day festival honoring all things Bueller. John Hughes’ 1986 classic has held up remarkably well, from the iconic “Bueller, Bueller, Bueller” scene with Ben Stein to Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Gray’s rendezvous at the police station, and Cameron’s “If Cameron was in Egypt’s Land” pity party (some of you may be feeling like that this morning).
And, of course, the infectious “Twist and Shout” parade, which festival organizers recreated in Daley Plaza yesterday:
