LEXINGTON - It is unlikely Kentucky football would have won the Citrus Bowl without the boost the one-time free transfer rule provided the program last offseason.
UK added four starters (quarterback Will Levis, wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, left tackle Dare Rosenthal and linebacker Jacquez Jones) through the transfer portal before the 2021 season. But the college football roster churn never stops. Now, Mark Stoops and company will look to fill new holes on the roster with impact transfers.
The transfer movement carried into the late spring and early summer for Kentucky football this offseason with former Sam Houston State running back Ramon Jefferson pledging to the Wildcats on June 28.
