We now know the ACC's plan for college football this fall. We must wait a little longer to determine the fate of the 2020 Governor's Cup rivalry game between Kentucky and Louisville.
On Wednesday, the ACC announced its teams will play 11 games this fall, one of which will be against a non-conference opponent. The ACC specified "all non-conference game opponents, selected by the respective school, must be played in the home state of the ACC institution, and all non-conference opponents must meet the medical protocol requirements as agreed upon by the ACC," seemingly leaving open the door to the Kentucky-Louisville rivalry game being played in 2020.
