Saturday will serve as a celebration of Mark Stoops when the Wildcats host his hometown team, Youngstown State. With a win over Florida, Stoops surpassed Bear Bryant to become the winningest head coach in Kentucky football history.
The Stoops family will be among the 300 or so guests of the Kentucky football team from Youngstown in the Kroger Field stands. The game between the Cats and the Penguins is the headliner, but Mark Stoops will also be the center of attention. There will likely be a pregame ceremony or two to celebrate his achievement.
