Fan injures knee warming up for Pat McAfee’s $100,000 kick challenge

If you’ve watched College GameDay this season, you’ve likely noticed that Pat McAfee pulls a fan out of the crowd each week and gives him/her a chance to kick a field goal for $100,000.

There actually have been a few winners during the last two seasons.

Unfortunately, this morning at Indiana, things went really bad when the fan picked to kick apparently tore his ACL while warming up.

“Jeram, the first kicker, Jake, tore his ACL warming up behind the stage,” McAfee told the replacement selection this morning.
