Josh Allen didn't leave his superpowers at the door when he stepped into the NFL as a first-round draft pick out of Kentucky.
Everything Allen did on the way to becoming the Wildcats' all-time sacks leader in 2018 carried over into his rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both Pro Football Focus and the Pro Football Writers Association named him to their All-Rookie teams, as a result.
Allen's 10 1/2 sacks this season led all rookies in the league. The edge rusher did not play the majority of snaps on defense, but was effective when he was on the field.
