Less than a week after getting called up to the Oakland Athletics from AAA Las Vegas, former Moeller High School and University of Kentucky pitcher Zach Logue has picked up his first big league win.
Logue entered the game in the sixth inning with Oakland down 1-0 to Baltimore. He threw 1.1 innings, giving up a hit, walking one and striking out a hitter. In the bottom of the sixth, Seth Brown had a two-run double for the A's, which would prove to be the game-winner, giving Logue the victory.
