An unheralded recruit last fall, J.J. Traynor rose through the rankings after an exceptional summer.
The Bardstown High School forward is now considered the top-ranked player in the state of Kentucky. In the recent 247 rankings, he jumped into the Top 100 at No. 76 overall. 247’s Director of Recruiting, Evan Daniels, talked about his development this morning on Kentucky Roll Call.
“I think he’s a tremendous talent. I’ve said this multiple times: I think he’s one of the biggest sleepers in the country, certainly the biggest sleeper I saw all July,” Daniels said.
“I think he’s got tremendous physical tools.
