As Matt outlined last night, even if Kentucky doesn’t beat Louisville, there’s still a possibility they go to a bowl game. As a result, the Cats are still in some experts’ bowl projections, including ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, who has Kentucky playing Akron in the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl.
The what-what-what bowl? The Raycom Media Camellia Bowl takes place in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday, December 19 at 5:30 p.m. It’s played at the Cramton Bowl, a 25,000-seat stadium that’s home to the Faulkner University Eagles. The bowl’s only been around for a year, with Bowling Green beating South Alabama for the inaugural Camellia Bowl title.
