Immanuel Quickley, Tyrese Maxey, and a surprise performance from Nate Sestina powered the Kentucky Wildcats past the LSU Tigers last night in Baton Rouge, 79-76.
The Cats were up 15 points before point guard Ashton Hagans went down with a thigh bruise. He didn’t return to the game and Kentucky had trouble with LSU’s press down the stretch,
But thanks to some good free throw shooting and timely rebounding, Kentucky got out of Louisiana with a much needed Quad 1 win.
