Jason Ence and Terry Brown took care of the UK basketball postgame show on ESPN 680. While the final score looked a little close, there was no doubt as the Kentucky Wildcats trounced the UAB Blazers.
A large part of that beating was thanks to stellar offensive play from both Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery. If John Calipari can continue to get that kind of play out of his bigs then the Cats are in for a fun season.
The defense got a little lazy at the end and allowed the Dragons to climb back in it a bit, but there was a point when UK was up almost 20 points and the game really was never in question.
