Jennings’ decision was ultimately between the two Citrus Bowl foes. Kentucky first offered Jennings as an eighth grader. Despite the early attention, UK’s New Year’s Day bowl victory and a late push by Steve Clinkscale and the UK coaching staff, the Top 150 recruit chose to play for Penn State.
Clinkscale offered two talented kids from Oak Park as eighth graders. It provided a payout for at least one.
