Last night, Benny Snell set the new school record in just 23 games as a true sophomore with 28 scores.
He still has three games to go this year, and at the very least, another season on top of that to push that record out of reach for quite some time.
On the year, the Wildcat running back has totaled 1013 yards and 15 touchdowns. Over the last three games alone, Snell has rushed for 472 yards and nine touchdowns.
As we mentioned last night, Georgia’s Herschel Walker and Knowshon Moreno are the only two other SEC running backs to ever record more than 1,000 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in both their freshman and sophomore seasons.
