Thirteen-time Grammy award-winning musician Emmylou Harris will be playing at the Lexington Opera House with country musician Rodney Crowell on Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. to promote their new duets album, “The Traveling Kind.”
Harris has performed since the late 1960s, and she is a veteran of all things folk and country music. In her long career, she has released over 20 studio albums and collaborated with artists such as Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Neil Young, Ryan Adams and many others.
Crowell got his start in the early 1970s, but he achieved mainstream success with his fifth studio album, 1988’s “Diamonds & Dirt.
