Kentucky’s newcomers showed a lot of potential in the exhibition win over Kentucky State to close out the preseason. Behind sophomore Immanuel Quickley leading the way with 17 points, the next four top scorers were all fresh faces to this year’s team: freshman Kahlil Whitney with 15 points, grad transfer Nate Sestina with 13, and freshmen Keion Brooks and Tyrese Maxey with nine apiece.
