EJ Montgomery is coming back to the University of Kentucky for his sophomore season, and he’s expected to thrive as one of the more experienced Wildcats.
A team known for their one-and-done recruits, Montgomery made the right decision to come back and sharpen his skill set. Not quite a polished freshman, Montgomery, who was the ninth-ranked recruit and top ranked player from Georgia in 2018, averaged just 3.8 points per game.
