LEXINGTON – The wait goes on for Kentucky basketball to learn what it's 2019-20 roster will look like.
Freshman forward EJ Montgomery, considered one of the more likely candidates to return to Lexington due to an inconsistent debut season, will test the NBA draft waters, UK announced Friday. He is leaving the door open to a return to Lexington though.
"I have sat down with Coach Cal and my family and decided to take full advantage of the rules that are in place and enter my name in the draft process," Montgomery said in a statement released by UK.
