The Kentucky women’s basketball team earned a number of national awards this week following their run to the SEC Tournament championship.
The team was named National Team of the Week by ESPN and the United States Basketball Writers Association.
Dre’una Edwards, who hit the game-winning shot against No. 1 South Carolina, was named National Player of the Week by the USBWA.
Kyra Elzy was named National Coach of the Week by ESPN.
