The best center in Kentucky football history will get one more chance to showcase his talents before the NFL Draft. Drake Jackson revealed late Thursday night that he has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl.
First played in 1950, the showcase event for college football’s top seniors has provided a platform for players to climb up draft boards. Lonnie Johnson was Kentucky’s most recent benefactor. Scouts marveled at his size and athleticism, pushing the UK cornerback into the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Jackson is a consensus top five center in this draft class.
