After waiting more than two years between in-state commitments, the Kentucky football has added a second one in two weeks.
This time the local player joining the Wildcats' 2019 recruiting class is Doss High School defensive end Shawnkel Knight-Goff, Doss coach Michael Crowe confirmed to Courier Journal.
The 247Sports Composite ranks Knight-Goff as the No. 7 recruit in the state's 2019 class. He picked Kentucky over reported scholarship offers from Louisville, Purdue, Cincinnati, Indiana and others.

Knight-Goff's commitment come just less than two weeks after UK added West Jessamine offensive lineman Will Cox, ending a drought of more than two years without a verbal commitment from a Kentucky high school player.
