Dontaie Allen, a former Pendleton County High School standout and 2019 Kentucky Mr. Basketball who played the past two seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats after a medical redshirt his freshman year, has committed to Western Kentucky, according to a report Wednesday morning via Twitter from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
After entering the transfer portal, Allen heard from several Division I teams - including the Cincinnati Bearcats, Xavier Musketeers and Northern Kentucky Norse - according to a report late last month via Twitter from 247Sports' Travis Branham.
Allen averaged 2.2 points per game in 19 games for the Wildcats this past season.
