Kentucky Basketball began its satellite camp tour around the state this week and John Calipari has never been so excited to get his guys out on the road with the people. Last year he and his team were socially distancing with the rest of America and completely isolated from the fan base—no satellite camps, no father-son camps, no Big Blue Madness campout, no fan interactions at the mall or on campus, nothing.
Nine wins and sixteen losses later, everyone realized the importance of summer bonding and feeling the Big Blue Nation.
“I knew the summer was important to us,” Calipari said in a late-May press conference.
