Between EJ Montgomery’s ankle, Immanuel Quickley’s chest, Ashton Hagans’ leg, Nick Richards’ ankle and Kahlil Whitney’s dislocated finger, just about every scholarship player has been banged up at one point or another.
That also includes Dontaie Allen, a 2019 four-star recruit who has been recovering from a torn ACL and broken collarbone suffered over the last year prior to his arrival in Lexington. It’s been a mystery as to when he’ll return, but it could be coming soon.
According to Shawn Smith, Allen’s mom posted a video of him dunking and said he is on track to begin practicing by the end of the month.
