Sources tell KSR Kentucky signee Dontaie Allen was in a car wreck on Wednesday and suffered a broken collarbone. The Pendleton County star was in Lexington on his way to physical therapy when the accident occurred. No further details are known at this time.
A month ago, Allen was named Kentucky Mr. Basketball. Before tearing his ACL in late December, he averaged 42.9 points and 14.2 rebounds per game, the state’s leader in each category. Allen scored more than 50 points in six of 12 games this season and finished his career as the 10th leading scorer in state history.
