Every program in the nation wants a chance to land junior guard Devin Askew, but he’s narrowed his options to just a handful of teams The five-star prospect has recently visited Memphis, Arizona and Kentucky, while he’s visited Louisville several times over the last year.
Kentucky is certainly the most famed of those three programs.
However, the Penny Hardaway-led Memphis Tigers have the nation’s best recruiting class this year and could be culminating a hotspot for recruits. Arizona, on the other hand, is a reasonable drive away from Askew’s home in Santa Ana, California.
And for Louisville, head coach Chris Mack has built a strong relationship with Askew, enough that the Cardinals have been viewed as the favorites for much of this recruitment.
