Detroit Lions fans, here is what you need to know about NFL draft pick Josh Paschal

LEXINGTON - Kentucky football's three-time captain did not have to wait long to hear his name called in the 2022 NFL draft.

Defensive end Josh Paschal was selected with the 46th pick by the Detroit Lions. His selection was the 14th in the second round of the draft.

Paschal finished his Kentucky career with 139 tackles, 37 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and three blocked kicks. The cancer survivor was the second UK player picked in the second round, following wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, who was drafted three picks earlier.
