Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and the Charlotte Hornets failed to make the playoffs by 7 games and MKG didn’t have the best season of his career, averaging 9.2 points and 4 rebounds a game.
Malik Monk was also with the Hornets and struggled in his rookie year to say the least. Monk transitioned back and forth from the G-League and the NBA all season.
