The Kentucky football team is off to a 5-0 start on the season, and a lot of it has to do with the elite play of the defense. From the naked eye, they’re easily one of the best in the SEC, and quite possibly all of college football. And when you crunch the numbers, the statistics back that up.
The Cats are currently ranked No. 3 nationally in scoring defense and No. 12 in total defense, and they also have the SEC leader in sacks, tackles for loss, and passes defended.
But if you ask the coaches and players, we haven’t even see the best out of the unit.
