Despite not playing Saturday, it was a productive week for Kentucky football in terms of its bowl chances.
That's thanks to Georgia's loss to LSU, which put the Wildcats just a half-game back of the Bulldogs and Florida for the lead atop the SEC East. Kentucky beat the Gators earlier this year and faces Georgia on Nov. 3.
If the Wildcats can take care of business against Vanderbilt and Missouri, the matchup with the Bulldogs may decide who faces Alabama in the SEC Championship Game.
And, in turn, have a big effect on where Kentucky plays in the postseason.
