This is great news for Willis, who played in the NBA Summer League with Detroit, who is one of the few teams without a UK connection.
Willis was able to make it onto NBA radars after his senior season, where he recorded career highs in points (267), rebounds (205), blocks (39), assists (34) and steals (25).
