Standing 6-foot-6, 330 pounds, you won’t find many players built like Kentucky freshman defensive lineman Deone Walker. You also won’t find many players who can move the way the Detroit, Mich. native can, either.
Combine the two, and there’s a reason Walker was rated as a four-star, top-300 prospect out of high school and held offers from the likes of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan and Penn State, among others.
Arriving on campus this summer, it hasn’t taken long for the highly-touted freshman to turn heads. For head coach Mark Stoops, that’s to be expected.
