LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky's defense has lost a returning starter for the 2018 season.
Senior outside linebacker Denzil Ware, who is set to graduate this weekend, announced Friday he will transfer from Kentucky to play his final season of eligibility elsewhere. As a graduate transfer, Ware would be eligible to play immediately for another FBS program in the fall.
"It was a tough decision to make," Ware wrote in a note posted to Twitter. "I want to thank Coach Stoops and all the other coaches for everything they've done for me.
