One of the biggest stories to come out of fall camp besides the quarterback race and the new stadium is Jason Hatcher’s suspension for the first two games for breaking team rules. Hatcher is one of the starting outside linebackers on Kentucky’s defense and his loss is not a small one.
However, in his absence, Jabari Johnson, the other starting outside linebacker, has taken redshirt freshman Denzil Ware under his wing and might be a critical factor in what gets Stoops his first two wins before Hatcher gets back. The Courier-Journal‘s Kyle Tucker looks further at how Johnson is mentoring Denzil Ware:
“‘Everything that I know, honestly, is because of Jabari,” Ware said.
