In one of the more bizarre stories in recent memory, Dalton Godbey of WDRB reported today that Hall of Fame Louisville coach Denny Crum’s headstone was dumped into the Red Sea by Houthi pirates.
Crum passed away last May but his gravesite still sits empty due to the actions of pirates. His widow, Susan Sweeney Crum, wants to let people know what happened so they understand why the gravesite is still empty.
Of course, Crum was a bitter UK rival back in the day, but he won many Kentucky fans over during his time on the radio with the late Joe B.
