Over the last last three recruiting cycles, Kentucky has gone into Middle Tennessee and signed five players from the Greater Nashville area. Barion Brown (Nashville Pearl-Cohn), Tre’vonn Rybka (Dickson County), and Keaten Wade (Spring Hill Summit) are each expected to play roles for the Wildcats this fall. That recruiting success has continued in the class of 2023 as four-star wideout Shamar Porter (Nashville Ensworth) is the highest ranked commit in Kentucky’s class.
The Middle Tennessee area has seen a population boom in recent years and that has led to an increase in football talent.
