New UK OLB coach Brad White impressed by talent at his position Jon Hale/Courier Journal
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Mark Stoops probably was not prepared for the depth of knowledge he was about to receive when he asked the question.
The Kentucky football head coach was briefing his staff on candidates for the newly-created 10th full-time assistant position on his staff. One candidate, then Indianapolis Colts outside linebackers coach Brad White, was on his way to Lexington to interview for the job.
It was natural then that Stoops would consult his assistant coaches about any knowledge of White they might have.
