Davonte Robinson may not be as heralded as some of his fellow 2016 UK commits, but his stock is on the rise. The Henry Clay cornerback committed to UK in October, but has been picking up offers and interest from major programs ever since, including Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have been particularly persistent in their recruitment of Robinson, who was supposed to visit South Bend on Monday.
In an interview with the Herald-Leader’s Ben Roberts, Robinson says he canceled the visit to Notre Dame because of a “scheduling conflict,” but assured fans that he’s “all in” on the Cats.
