Davion Mintz is officially a Kentucky Wildcat.
This afternoon, the UK basketball program announced Mintz – a 6-foot-3 graduate transfer from Creighton – has signed with school.
Mintz, a native of Charlotte, NC who played in 97 games with 79 starts for the Bluejays, officially signed with the program to open the spring signing period after verbally committing last week. Mintz is expected to add valuable experience, leadership and depth to what’s projected to be a young, but talented squad in 2020-21.
Under NCAA graduate transfer rules, Mintz will be eligible to play for the Wildcats in the fall after graduating from Creighton with undergraduate degree in marketing.
