Another day, another accolade for Darian Kinnard. Today, Kentucky’s star offensive lineman was named First Team All-American by USA Today, adding to a long list of preseason honors. Kinnard is one of five offensive linemen on the list alongside Alabama’s Evan Neal, Texas A&M’s Kenyon Green, Iowa’s Tyler Linderbaum, and Ohio State’s Thayer Munford. He is Kentucky’s only representative on the First or Second Teams.
“Kinnard is poised to lock down a spot among the best offensive linemen in Kentucky’s history,” author Paul Myerberg wrote.
So far, Kinnard has been tabbed First Team All-American by Athlon Sports, Sporting News, Walter Camp and Pro Football Focus, which ranks the offensive tackle as one of the 50 best players in all of college football.
